Gynaecology Scans

Comprehensive pelvic ultrasound evaluations for a wide range of non-pregnancy female health concerns, symptoms, or referrals.

Routine & Diagnostic Gynaecological Scans

Assesses the uterus, endometrial lining, and ovaries for fibroids, cysts, or general structural issues. Suitable for irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, or general check-ups.

An internal scan offering high-resolution views of the uterus, ovaries, and pelvic organs — ideal for early detection of subtle abnormalities.

Used to investigate abnormal uterine bleeding, fertility planning, or monitor hormonal therapy effects (e.g. IVF, HRT).

Symptom-Based & Condition-Specific Scans

Evaluates number, size, and location of fibroids — helpful for fertility assessments, heavy bleeding, and surgical planning.

Assesses size, type, and characteristics of ovarian cysts (simple, haemorrhagic, dermoid, endometriotic), with follow-up scans as needed for monitoring.

Although ultrasound cannot definitively diagnose all endometriosis, we assess for features such as endometriomas (endometriotic cysts), fixed ovaries, and tenderness with probe pressure — suggestive of deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE).

Assesses follicle count and ovarian volume in line with Rotterdam criteria. Suitable for suspected PCOS or hormonal imbalance.

Measures endometrial thickness and morphology to assess risk of pathology in postmenopausal bleeding cases.

Device & Surgical Follow-Up

Confirms location and orientation of intrauterine devices. Ideal for post-insertion verification or lost threads.

Follows up after gynaecological procedures (e.g. cystectomy, fibroid surgery, endometriosis ablation) to monitor recovery and internal anatomy.

May suggest presence of dilated or fluid-filled fallopian tubes — further tests like HyCoSy or HSG may be advised.
